Giveaway: Finger Lakes Wedding Affair

I am super excited to be preparing for the Finger Lakes Wedding Affair this weekend.  It's my first bridal show where I will be a vendor.  To be honest, I never even went to a bridal show when I was a bride! At the time I was in grad school and Jake and I were in the process of buying our house, so there was never any time for me to head over to a show.  But, if I had been able to go, this is the show I would have wanted to see.  I can assure you that the Wedding Affair is going to be amazing and I hear there will even be ice sculptures pouring peppermint martinis! And a couture fashion show, manicures, hors d'oeuvres, facials, and of course, many awesome vendors for you to meet.

I have no plans of getting married anytime soon but I do enjoy telling the story of how me and my beau met. I invited a group of friends to a gallery opening at the studio where I was interning and out of the ten people I invited Charles was the only one who came. It kinda became a date even though it wasn't planned that way. And the rest is history...

I met Clay at Penland School of Crafts at volleyball. He was wearing a tank top and I couldn't help but notice his glassblower arms. Then I didn't really see him again for a couple years until his friend's birthday party. He'd had a little to drink and was less shy, so we struck up a conversation....

John and I met at the RIT gym as alumni members :) He sent his friend over to see if I was nice, I had no clue that it was John who liked me and not his friend LOL Hope to meet you at the show!
