I have the worst time choosing paint colors for our house! Every time I pick the color we repaint the room at least twice {dining room}, sometimes three times {bedroom, office}. I would like to paint our hallway gray after we strip the wallpaper. Jake loves rich, dark colors, but I'm afraid to go too dark. Hmmm...I have a feeling I should just let him pick, then maybe we'll only have to paint once!

I painted my guest room gray and I still love it.. it goes great with everything!
Glad to hear that you love your gray room. I'm sure I will, too, I just want to pick the right shade. Not too warm or cold and not too light!
I would go dark in the hallway and put some nice clean prints on the wall.
hi there - i love the color DOVECOAT from Ralph Lauren. i painted two rooms that color :) it seems to be the perfect gray for me!
Thanks for the help! I was leaning toward a dark paint and I'm definitely going to check out the Dovecoat color. I'll make sure to post pictures when we finally finish the project!

I cannot live with any dark colors in the house. The dark Rochester sky seems to satiate any craving I have for gray. But if you have bright lighting it may work out allright.
Congrats on the Spring semester work at U of R. Allen is so happy you can do it!
